In This Series we take a deep dive into these rhythms that bring about transformation and life. We will do this by looking at the practices and activities that have been engaged with by Jesus and his followers for thousands of years. These practices are often referred to by some as spiritual disciplines.
Any change in our life starts with change in our minds. This truth can be seen throughout life as well as throughout Scripture. The ancient Hebrew wisdom literature tells us that “as a man thinks, so he is.” Also, Paul in his letter to the romans tells us that transformation begins by renewing our mind. In this series we will reexamine how we think about topics such as leadership, doubt, singleness, career, race, and much much more. Sometimes all it takes is a subtle shift of thought to open up new possibilities.
In this series we are going to explore a few of those intangible work skills. The hope is that you would – whether you are in your first job, eighth job, or you have found your career sweet-spot – learn about, and be inspired to grow in, some of these essential and intangible work skills.
