After a month that felt like two days, I have compiled the final top 5 for the month of August for you guys. With summer coming to a close do something this weekend that epitomizes summer for you. Kick back and weekend well fam.
1. Taylor Swift: Reputation
This week was filled with a thousand different theories all revolving around miss Taylor Swift. Spoiler, all the rumours stating that she would be releasing new music were all true. After Swift posted a video of what appeared to be a snake Monday morning rumours began flying. Posts followed announcing her sixth studio album “Reputation” that is set to release November 10th and her new single which is out now. Head over to Spotify or Apple Music and check out what fans have been waiting for the past 3 years.
2. Netflix: Hellogoodbye
As we come closer to the end of the month it's hard to not think about one thin: what's coming to Netflix in September. In September, titles like Jaws, Pulp Fiction, and The Walking Dead: Season 7 will be available to stream. However, if you have any emotional attachment to Scream, Lilo & Stitch, or CSI: Miami now is your time to grab some snacks and binge watch. Check out a full list of titles coming and going HERE.
3. America’s Got Talent Judge Fight
After Tuesday night's episode aired I was left wondering if I was reliving the early 2000s as Mel B and Simon Cowell had made headlines. After Simon Cowell made a comment that did not resonate well with former Spice Girl Mel B she proceeded to throw her drink on Simon and walk off camera. Check out the clip HERE.
4. Solar Eclipse
Perhaps the only thing more talked about this week than Taylor Swift was the Eclipse that happened Monday morning. Whether you witnessed this event from your office, Griffith Park, or the starbucks drive-thru it was truly a sight to see. For a full recap from around the country check out this article by the OC Register HERE.
5. Malia Obama: Harvard 2021
Former first daughter, Malia Obama, has officially moved into her on-campus housing at her parents Alma Mater. Malia is joining the prestigious legacy of many famous graduates after taking a gap year to travel and intern at the Weinstein Company film studio. It's nice to see that Malia is just like the rest of us…Kinda.
